Great Picture

No, I'm not pregnant. Just wanted to clear those thoughts from your mind when you see this awesome picture.

Isn't it great? I stoll this from Sadie's (a gal I work with) FB profile picture. Thanks Sadie!

4 X's The Fun

We had a lot of fun this 4th of July weekend. It started off with my in-laws huge annual BBQ and karaoke Friday night. Then it picked back up right where it left off Saturday morning for buttermilk pancakes and the works for breakfast. We did a "Happy Independence Day" parade around my Grandma in-law's house, we raised the flag and chit chatted. It was a lot of fun. And there are a ton of kids for Drake to play with. Saturday afternoon we went swimming with Shaylee and Bryce (my sister in-law and her husband). That night we went to Shay and Brayce's for another BBQ and fireworks. They live pretty close to where PG City did their fireworks so we watched those and then put on a show of our own. Sunday morning I had to wake up early and make sugar cookies (if I might add, it's the BEST recipe in the world, serious! It's my sister Jen's recipe) and a festive cake. I worked from noon to 4 p.m. that afternoon and then at 4 we celebrated my Grandparents 60TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY!!! 60 years folks! That's a life time! Congrats to them. I ate more food and chit chatted just a bit more :) Then, (that's right, there is more) at 8 p.m. we went over to Ryan and Whitney's place to hang out and enjoy some more good food, games and fireworks. I had to be to work at 3 a.m. Monday morning so the night ended at 11 p.m.
We had a lot of fun all weekend long but it's one of those weekends that you need a weekend from your weekend. So we have a lot of house cleaning to be done and that will keep us busy all week long.
We had a blast with all our family, and we feel blessed to live in such a beautiful place. We enjoy a lot of freedoms and they would not be possible with out our soldiers, present and past. GOD BLESS THE USA!
