This picture was posted to help describe our Memorial Day camping trip that we went on last year. CJ was setting up our trailer and Drake was being so dang cute and trying to help him out. Drake would lean down and try to figure out what CJ was working on. We had a blast that trip, even though it rained so much that we had to leave our trailer on the mountain for another couple of days until it dried up enough to pull it out... what a mess. I hope this years Memorial camp out won't be so wet! We are so excited to take Drake camping some more this year, he always does way better than we think he will. He's a trooper. Lets just hope that I can survive the Lake Powell trip that we have planned for in June, I'm afraid I'm going to be a nervous wreck with Drake there! AHH!

ReplyDeletedude, growing up my family was not outdoorsy at all. and the few times we did do anything i was FAAAREEEEEEKIN out the whole time. skiing...sledding...i'd go nuts. so Im way scared about how i'll be with my own kids. they're gunna have no fun i'll be too worried a disaster will happen!
ReplyDeleteI think he will be just fine at LP. There will be enough people that will be keeping their eyes on him, I know I will watch him. So is June the month? I want June not August.

ReplyDeletesee... you guys still have lots of fun now that you have a kid! I bet he will absolutely love Lake Powell. I loved your last post...it made me feel not so guilty ... for not having kids yet. But seeing posts like this make me way excited!
