My First

.... time ever going to Yuba Lake. We went down there with CJ's family and some of his cousin's. We had a lot of fun and Drake had even more fun! He was in the sun the entire time but we managed to keep him from getting sun burt, he actually got a little tan. There were a ton of little kids for him to play with too. He would call them his "Friends" he'd say "Where'd my friends go?", then one time he was playing in the sand with two of the little girls and he looked up at them and said "Oh guys, we're best friends!" He was so much fun! And he was making everyone laugh, as usual.

This is Drake with one of his "friends" Gabby. She is one of the cutest little girls I know!

This is the sand castle that CJ and Bryce helped some of the kids make. They had more fun than I think the kids did :) The next day Bryce built one 3 stories high. Sorry, no pictures of that one.

Drake is the most messy Twinkie eater I know!

All About Drake

We got Drake's two year pictures taken by CJ's Aunt Shanna and like always, she did a great job! We love them! I was going to pick just a few of my favorite picutres to post on here but there are just too many of them. I have family members who want to see all these pictures so that's another reason why I posted so many. You might not enjoy them as much as I do but I thought I'd share.

Holla if you're ready for them Summer nights.

HOLLA!
We've been having a lot of fun ever since Summer graced us with her presence. For Memorial day we went camping with CJ's sister, Shaylee and her husband Bryce, and CJ's little brother Austin and his girlfriend Nita. We all had a blast!

Don't laugh at how horrible and homeless I look. No makeup + No contacts + No
shower = a gay 'ol time out camping!

Drake; the little trooper. He had more fun then I think anyone else in camp did. He helped put wood on the fire (with close supervision that is) and he made us laugh, a lot! He loves camping!

Then we got invited to the Tracy Lawrence and Mark Owens concert with Shaylee and Bryce and it was a lot of fun! Two singers, a skydiver, and fireworks, oh and a hotdog (that I paid 3 freakin' bucks for) made for a fun night!

Ok so this lady just about stole the show. She's the one in the white skirt, pink top, leaning back. Ya she was crazy. It was so funny, she was up dancing the WHOLE time! Too funny! She was making up dance moves that I've NEVER EVER seen before. She did the booty shake, the fist pump, you name it, this lady did it. And it was always just slightly off, which made it that more great to watch HAHA

I'm In Love

So the other night I was in the bathroom getting ready for bed, just taking out my contacts and brushing my teeth, the usual. CJ was in Drake's room helping Drake get ready for bed and goofing off. CJ can make Drake laugh over anything and I LOVE Drake's laugh. It makes me melt! Well after 5 minutes of CJ saying "I'm gonna get you!" and tickling Drake to death (I was laughing during those entire 5 minutes because I get so happy to hear Drake laugh), I heard Drake gasp for air and he said "Oh, I love you daddy." and then CJ told me that Drake leaned in and gave him a hug. I think that is so sweet! I had the best feeling of my whole life! It was almost overwhelming. I realized right then and there in the bathroom just how happy I am! I have the worlds most perfect man (for me that is, because some woman would not put up with his excesive hunting hobby lol) and an awesome little boy! They are so great and I'm just not sure how I would survive without them! This is my life and I'm loving it!

Back When I knew It All

So I have nothing else to blog about so bare with me on this one will ya. I didn't get to dye my hair all growing up, well until I went behind my house hold rules and just did it my self. You know what they say right? That it's easier to ask for forgiveness than it is for permission. And for my mom, I believe that saying very much so. Anyway, one night during my senior year in High School, me and my friend Ashli decide that we're bored and that my hair needed to be dyed. We went to Smith's and found the most pretty ginger brown, herbal essence, box dye we could find and headed back to her house. The back WARNING label specifically said NOT to use on blonde's. Our reasoning to continue forward with this was that I was a dirty dish water blonde and that we would just leave the color in for a bit longer than the box suggested. No big deal right?

WRONG!!!
I looked like I was a big 'ol penny! Ashli started crying, immediately. I didn't cry but I was shaking because we had school the next day and I still had to go home and somehow confront my parents about this. Ashli called her moms hair stylist and she told us that we have to re-dye it with an ash black/gray color. I'm sorry I don't have any pictures handy to post an after shot but it was so dark. I went from dirty dish blonde to ash black in a matter of hours and I think my mom wanted to kill me. They didn't freak out as bad I had thought they would but they hate that I started dying my hair. The hair dying has never stopped either. My dad makes fun of me and my sisters and calls us the "my little pony girls" because we have so many different colors in our hair at any given time. O the good 'ol days huh.

Ya'll Ready For This

I have a lot of photo's in this post, so bare with me while I try to explain a couple of them.
This past weekend we went with my family on the Zimmerman's 2nd annual 4 wheeler trip. My older Brother and his family couldn't make it and neither could my little Sister, we missed them both! We took Drake this year so we didn't get to do a whole lot of 4 wheeling because Drake doesn't have a helmet, so we drove the truck instead. We bee bopped around camp on the 4 wheeler with him though, and he loved it! My dad took us to where Jess (my oldest sister) shot her Desert Bighorn Sheep. It was really cool to be able to be right there and experience how big and vast that place is. Utah has some of the most beautiful country! It's hard to see just how big and deep and far down some of these photo's are but I guess you can try to imagine.

I snapped this shot while we were on the road, not yet to our camp site.

This is the part of the trip that Drake got to stay in the truck. Check out that ledge!!! In southern Utah they get some pretty bad flash floods and in this area all the water flows right down this canyon. This next shot is of me standing on that ledge looking down.

See how all the water has created that canyon for the water to flow down. It just hits the sand rock with such force it eats away at it.

My boys, roughin' it.

Isn't it cool what nature does to rock when you add wind, water and sand! (That's not a question, because I already know it's cool!)
