Dear Fall,
Do you know what I love?
I love warm, rich colors! Mustard yellow, forest green, chocolate brown, deep tan, burgundy, and burnt orange.
I love a black stormy sky with lightning bolts and tons of thunder.
I love sweaters, jackets, coats, and scarves.
I love weather in the 50's and 60's. (temp. not era) Cool and crisp when you walk out the door in the mornings. (however I also love to sleep in, so if I don't have to walk outside in the mornings it's even better haha)
I LOVE Thanksgiving. I love everything about it. The food , family and decorations.
I love big Quaking aspen tree's. I love when their leaves change to yellow.
I especially love the Japanese Maple tree (it's a really big one) that sits in front of the house I grew up in (my sister now owns it). I love when the leaves turn the darkest shade of plum red you'll ever see. It is big and beautiful. (I'll have to post a pic)
So please be a long Fall this year.

Everything that you said there and the color of your background.
ReplyDeleteI love pumpkin pies and whipped cream. I love the crunch of leaves under foot while walking. I love the smell in the air. And I love soups! Oh the soups. Clam Chowder, Broccoli Cheese, Chili, Chicken and Wild Rice. Yum.
Madalyn! I didn't even know your sister was following my blog! I'm glad you found me! I'm doing good. I work at a pediatric dental office in sugarhouse, we live in holladay, my husband is in his last semester of school and he coaches club soccer. . . pretty much my life consists of work & soccer (i'm going to be burnt out by the time my kids are ready to play ((I currently don't have any kids in case you were wondering)). How are you guys? your baby is so big!!! He is so cute.
